Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

Bullying AmbassadorsOur Anti-Bullying Ambassadors attended a full day's training with Paul Hanmore, Training and Development Officer for the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Programme as part of The Diana Award.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

During the training they:

  • examined what bullying is
  • learnt how to support students who are the victims of bullying
  • learnt the role of the Ambassadors
  • learnt how to identify bullying and the different types of bullying
  • learnt how to promote anti-bullying in Forest Gate Community School
  • generated ideas of how to implement awareness in school of their role.

The task of the Anti-Bullying Ambassadors is to now to take ownership of their role and to encapsulate the belief that Princess Diana held: “Believing in their power as young people to change the world for the better.”
