Anti-Radicalisation Advice for Parents

For advice and guidance on the threats posed by radicalisation and extremism please follow the link below.

The online world is integral to how children stay in touch with their friends, and access to the internet is now available like never before. However, there are inherent risks associated with new technologies and it is essential for young people and their parents/carers to understand how to reduce these risks.

Forest Gate Community School have appointed a team of 18 staff members who are trained by NSPCC to support and advise our students on keeping themselves safe online.

A list of Keeping Children Safe Online (KCSO) Advisers and their photos are displayed on our safeguarding notice board in school.  If you are a student please speak to any of the KCSO Advisers about any concerns or worries. You can also speak to your HOL who will direct you to one of the KCSO advisers.

Below are a number of links to different websites which give advice to parents/carers and young people on how to stay safe online. Please take some time to look through them.
