Sports Day 2018

FGCS Sports Day at Lee Valley Athletics Centre was a huge success. Athletes from years 7-10 battled hard to earn valuable points for their team throughout the day across a variety of different events. Some races were so close that a photo finish was required. This just shows the level of determination our students had to finish in the best position possible. There was a great display of sportsmanship from all with everyone cheering on every student in every event and this helped to create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the whole day.

The winners of Sports Day were Team Thompson (7T, 8T, 9T, 10T). The points from sports day were then added to the inter-form points that students have been collecting throughout the year and here are the final positions:

• Year 7 - Gunnell and Redgrave
• Year 8 - Farah
• Year 9 - Ovett
• Year 10 - Gunnell
