Celebrating Our Outstanding GCSE Results
Forest Gate Community School is celebrating another fantastic set of GCSE results, with 69% of students achieving grade 5 or above in English and maths, significantly above the national average of 59%. An impressive 70% of disadvantaged students also achieved a strong pass in both subjects.
There were some exceptional individual achievements too, with three students – Helena, Tej and Ishaq – achieving grade 9s in all 10 of their GCSEs. Across the year group, students celebrated the results of their hard work, with many recognising the additional support, interventions and encouragement they received from their teachers.
We are incredibly proud of all our students and wish them every success as they take their next steps.
