Dear Parent/Carer,  We are delighted to inform you that your child has been asked to participate in the upcoming Winter Festival being held at Forest Gate Community School on Thursday 11th December 2025 from 5.15pm -7.00 pm. The Winter Festival is a showcase of everything Arts at Forest Gate.  The entrance to the event will be through the back gate into the school canteen where the audience will be greeted with live music, art and refreshments. This will be followed by two performances from the Drama and Music departments.  Families and friends are warmly invited to join us.  This is an opportunity for your child to showcase their artistic talents to an audience, and to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. Within the Art exhibition there will also be an art fair of students' work, where any money raised will be donated to the school charity of the term.   In order to let our students show their talents in the best light, there will be rehearsals during the school day and after school.  Therefore students will be required to stay after school until the end of the festival.  Food will be provided for the participating students.   Doors for the event will be opening at 5.45pm for families and friends for the back gate. Due to the seating capacity in the drama studio tickets for the drama and dance performance will be restricted to 50 per show.
